hello everyone im growing a melon this year the 282 dawson im not sure if i should self polinate it or make a cross ,if i do a cross can anyone suggest a good seed to cross it with????? thanks pizzapete

What other seeds do you have?
Not sure of the father, but the mother was a 255 Mitchell I believe.
Good genetics there.
You have any more 282s?
You could sib it and preserve genetics.

i dont have any more 282 dawsons i have 291 kent,and a bunch of mudd seeds that are 200 plus, will look again tonight thank you pizza

Pizza any of those would be good crosses.
I've been trying to get 291Kents for a couple years now.
Always out bidded in the auctions !
Frank Mudd always grows nice melons.
Any of those Mudds a 199.5 ?
I would go with the 291 Kent myself,but any of the Mudd seeds are good as well.
