how long before last frost should I start my seeds in doors? and can I start seeds under a regular 4ft fluorsecent lights? also what is the best size pot ti start plants in?

Not sure about frost dates,,,,,,,but I plant seeds indoors middle of April, transplant first of May, pollinate by the end of June. Once seeds have germinated, get them under a grow light, a regular fluorsecent light may cause them to get very leggy.

I just started my seeds. I used the wet paper towel in a ziploc bag technique, and they all popped within two days.

James(aka MMM), did half mine and Jim and Lukas Courson's this week also...love my setup from last year...with the temp control...they seem to do best around 92-95....Good luck this year...starting the other half this weekend. Although, with 2 ft of snow in the patch...might be awhile.
