Yes I did say "Potted" growing not Pot growing,lol. OK folks, Where can I get it and what is the simplest means of maintaining a higher soil temp for growing temporarily indoors. I feel my grafting is going well but I do have enough sence to realize I am not maintaining a good soil temp at only 68 degrees. Is there a soil mat or a reptile heating stone you know something I can Jerry Rig if need be, lol. I'm probably not seeing the "patch for the Vines" here. What says you. Remember there are no dumb Ideas just ones that are better. Whats that noise? I can hear the brain fibers stretchin out there in Watermelon Land!! Thanks

Thanks dave, I did think about some kind of elevated metal perferated shelving with lights below but I didn't think of a heat lamp per say. It's gotta be safe but yet get warm enough. I'll check them it out.

If your light source isn't strong enough to provide enough light the extra heat may possibly cause your plants to get lanky. So be cautious unless you are using HID lighting.

Yes I have excellent Foliar Lighting but its the radiant heating from beneath I'm trying to correct. This is just temporary heating for growth to a two month growth spurt so I can really see how the grafts are growing under near "normal growing temps". Thanks Tenn Dreamer

I hope I'm not opening a thinking can of worms here but.............have any of you cut open a heating blanket and looked at the cables inside?.....Hmmm...Inline temperature controlled, moisture preventive coating, Hmmm would it work coiled up in say a 10 gal. container? You can buy used ones at thrift stores for pennies compared to regular heating cables. I know, I know..electricity kills.
