What can I do to add calcium quickly to stop this from happening again? Also do I still have enough time to grow a 200lb watermelon? The weigh off is October 16th.

I used one tablespoon of calcium chloride (salt used to melt ice from walking surfaces) to a gallon of water sprayed on tomato vines and young fruit. It won't cure fruit already involved with BER be it stopped the tomato blossom end rot virtually overnight on young fruit and subsequent growth.
Don't know about its effect on melons. I would check with ur local state agricultural extension office before using it on curcubits. Regards, Clutch

I'm going to try adding calcium nitrate to the soil, and then spray with a foliar calcium fertilizer.

My pre-season soil test said that I had over 4700 lbs ca per acre which is very high. I fert plants with calcium nitrate every other week. Still on occasions I will get a cull or odd shaped fruit with BER. I don't know if you can stop it all, but I think your on the right track.
