How old does a melon need to be before it has viable seeds? I walked out this morning, and my 255 plant was down. There's still some life in vine around melon, but it's only 15days old.

i had seeds as early as 25 days. not all but alot. the melon was 58 lbs. I also let it ripen 30 days off the vine after picking.

Thanks, I'll cut this one off as soon as the vine around it completely dies, and hope for seeds. I'll set in shade for a month or so.
