Hi- This is my first yr with a Giant Watermelon PLant actually Growing Good. So is growing these like growing the Giant Pumpkins? Setting the Fruit is the main question i have. Do they have female and male flowers? I just need some answers to how to set a fruit and when to. Thanks A lot

Yes, male and female flowers. Your vine needs some size to it before setting fruit. Timing is very important. You will want to try to pollinate around 90 days before your weigh-off.

The melons can be pollinated later in the day,around here its like 10 am till noon.The melon female flower will start to have a opaque look or like a glow to the blossum.
