That's great Mark! LOTS of state records this year!

So after all that discussion about state records our local pumpkin organization decided to declare my 130 a state record for Utah. I yelled into the mic that “giant watermelons are cool too” and to “grow a giant watermelon next year!” so we’ll see if a few more turn up at the weigh-off next year. I’m hoping mine will be closer to 200 pounds:)

I also fed a 125 to the crowd that was actually quite good!
I hope that sparked a little interest for watermelons. They put a photo of me handing out the melon in the news, and they mentioned the 90 pounder that I put in the state fair on the radio.
