Hey Chris, That is not acctually a real county. I think they wrote the song based on the one in Cordele. Cordele is the watermelon capital of the world. They have a festival in July and it is the only thing that goes on down there besides the wild hog festival east of there. They do have a weighoff but it is to early to see any really bigones. It is amazing to see how many eatin melons roll through there around the 4th of July. The roads are full old school buses with the tops cut out rounded over with melons. I use to go down there and buy them to bring back and sell. Great place to visit that time of year.
