Wow Mark, that's great news. I know how you were suffering through all that excessively hot weather. I'll be up there in a few short hours to help you pull those watermelon plants out of the ground. I guess that greenhouse just doesn't do enough to protect them from the cold.I'll bring my fishing pole & we'll have a great time talking about the warm fall temperatures down here in Dixieland.And to think, I was starting to doubt that I could beat you. Oh me of little faith.LOL

the last cold front here dropped temps from 117 to 95!

Yeah they dropped .8 of a pd per day this week,Except Eggbert he increased .7 per day!

With the cool front(88 to 90) most all my melons have responed with really good 50 day gains. The forcast for the next week looks good so far, so we'll see how things go.

Captain Marvel!255 just passed my 191 from last year!Its amazing tapes exactly the same end to end,side to side & circumference! this is the first time I compared to last years OTT,& passed it the same day! Go figure!!OTT on 191 was!183.5 OTT she was 15 lbs heavy.
