Hey guys. I sent out the previous seed requests last week, but I need to delay for a bit due to a kitchen fire on Monday night. I am holding a half dozen requests, that I hope to get to once the insanity slows down.
Don't think I am ignoring you, just otherwise occupied for a few days (hopefully).

We are fine, and I emptied two extinguishers keeping the fire at bay until the fire trucks arrived. Probably a stupid thing to do but I didn't want to lose my house.

You do what you have to do to save what you have. Sounds like if you did not do what you done you could have lost everything you have. I hate hearing what happened but I am happy for you that you did not lose everything. You at least still have your home to remodel and like everyone you have stuff in your home that can never be replaced. Hope that you did not have so much smoke that you breathed to effect your health. Good Luck getting your home and family back up to where you need them.

The insurance company has been great, and the cleaning service a little to complete. The took all my clothes yesterday, so I had to scrounge for something to wear today.
We will be fine, and the important things like life and watermelon seeds were well protected.
Yes, I agree. You do what you need to do to protect your way of life. I had no desire to see the fire spread any further so I keep knocking it down until the fire trucks arrived. It was a fun evening on Monday.

When I first saw this it reminded me of when I was working one night and a call come out on a house fire. I was first on the scene and grabbed the big fire extinguisher out of the trunk of my unit. The owners of the home were all outside and I knew them and they started telling me where the fire was at. I went into the house that was filled with smoke and the fire was in the utility room way in back of the house and off to the side. I managed to open the door where the fire was at and used the fire extinguisher and when I needed to breath I ran back outside got fresh air and went back in to do it again. It took me about 4 trips before the fire dept finally showed up. When they got suited up and got into the house they found that the fire was out. If I had not done what I done that family would have lost everything. Guess what the firefighters had to say to me? They jumped all over me for doing what I done. That is, all but one of them and he told the others if I had not done what I done the house would have been lost. He also said that their response was not good and I helped them. So I know what you went thru. I had problems for a couple days coughing but it was worth it to me. I told them my job puts me at risk and that is what I do.

So Victor....You sent me two different SASBEs for seeds. Did you want me to send you twice as many seeds or just a postal oversight on your part?
