HI there, rookie year for Giant Pumpkins, I have a spot in my patch for a giant Watermelon, just don;t know where to get seeds for teh big boys, how bug do they get, and is it to late to plant for this year??

From what I have read on here they take around 90 days to mature, so I would have to say it may be too late to start. You can get free seeds usually in the fall from many growers in this forum. Good luck with the pumpkins. Lee

i think its a little longer for a fully grown cc melon . 45 for the plant , 70 for the fruit.

I would be inclined to agree with Chris. The melon could even grow more than 70 days too I think, IF you have the time available...
