Subject: curly cot leaves

Most of my cc melons have germinated now, but all but one have curly and slightly twisted cot leaves. Is that normal or am I doing something they don't like ? I can see the first true leaves forming. Also, growth is much slower than ag's. I would have to assume that is normal. Lee

I see twisted/curly looking cots all the time. You'll be fime. They do grow quite a bit slower than AG's.

With Atlantic giant pumpkins you get alot of curly cots too. I have always thought it had something to do with germinating the seeds at such high temperatures. About half of mine came up curly this year.
