I just picked my last melon of the year.The stem was still somewhat green & the vine still had a few green leaves on it. It was 34" long and 179 chart inches and weighed 163.5 pounds.The chart weight is 165 so this one was off by only 1.5 pounds. I haven't cut this one yet but it seems solid as a rock. I hope it is good & sweet. So I was just wondering if anyone still has any that are still growing? I'll post a couple of picts of this one in my growers diary.

Ok, well I didn't think so. I am pretty far south and got a late start this year and there are no more competitions I know of so why would anyone still have any melons growing.
