Well its in the house and I have a photo of it in my diary. 179 ott. 251 Mudd ready for fair. Only 26 inches long but has a almost 62 inch girth.Maybe a personal best also to go with my pumpkin.It should be fun next Tuesday at the fair.

That's an amazeingly fat melon Marty. Have you not put it on a scale yet? With the shape it has I'll bet you it will go heavy. Congratulations on another great growing job.

Congrats Marty let us know what it weighs. most fat melons do go heavy, so maybe that one will go really heavy. Nearlly all the melons on my 251 plant were fat. I kept them culled till I finally got a long one. It is taking off fast but I may have waited to late to set it. The 178 Mudd's were long. Maybe someone got a good cross between them. Oh yeah congrats on the BP pumpkin too
