how do you measure a watermelon do you do it like an ag or what ?

You will get a lot of answers, but yes. There is a OTT chart for watermelons using End to End over the top, Side to Side over the top and Circumference.
I also like to measure straight length and girth, since it tells me something extra about the fruit. I can usually measure girth since I have the fruit up on boards with air space underneath. It's pretty easy to slip the tape under the melon, unless there is a garden snake curled up under the fruit.

MMM, I have one somewhere, but others might appreciate a link to find the OTT chart for melons, and I aint got a clue where I got mine!!! Can you help out? Thanks for all yer help past and future!!! Peace, Wayne
