I successfully ran a secondary backwards, back up the main. If nothing else, it sure helps the plant look good. It might not add lbs. but I love looking at an ocean of solid green. Its beautiful.

The whole front of plant in front of my fruit was tertiary’s last year. Plus I used them to fill in open spots. In my opinion I don’t think it matters what vines it is you just need the plant there to push it!

All the time especially later in the season when the older leaves are done we send what ever sucker vine we can find to fill the area for photosynthis.

Definitely. Helps to make up for some of the older leaves that start to get a little crispy. If you have more plant you can prune those off without worry.
