Those of you have done this, how does 150 sq ft plant hold up for a whole grow? I suppose your spray and fertilizer program would have to be absolutely perfect. Any feedback is appreciated.

I dont think anything in 150 is harder than a regular plant, in some ways its easier/ less work. Because its a smaller plant, its easier to walk around the plant, and spray into the interior of the plant, spray under the leaves, prune, etc., whatever u need to do. Really, the full size plants are a pain in the rear by comparison.

In my climate, if I was terminating the final secondaries at the end of July (like usual) then if all went correctly with insect and disease control, I will still have a pretty healthy plant by the end of September.

There’s a lot of variables with climate, date of planting, date of pollination and date of plant termination within the 150 sq ft.

Sorry, I meant to add, when we grow for 150 sq ft, we use flag pattern growing style with either a 10 foot main and 15 foot secondaries on one side only or a 15 foot main and 10 foot secondaries on one side only. Again, for us that is just the easiest way to maintain a healthy plant and cram it into exactly 150 sq ft.

Somewhat unrelated, but doing a christmas tree with all the vines curved back toward the stump allows the most vines to be stuffed in a small space afaik. I believe Steve did this, and its working well so far for me

150's are fun to grow. As mentioned above they are much easier to maintain, and you can watch every square in for vine borers etc.

So many options for the patterns and a great safety net plant to hedge against the big boys splitting.
