The Patons have their mixture for burying the vines in those pots and leave them on. If you read theis diaries over the last few years you will see pictures of the results. This link might be one from this year.

Assuming the same growth curve as last years 1885, that would land it squarely around 3300lbs. Then factor in the fact that the 2365 tends to go heavy, and the chart tends to skew under actual weight at higher numbers... I don't want to jinx anything, but I hope they finally get that world record. Only problem is we may never be able to catch up.

841 pounds at day 30 is what you'd expect if it follows the same growth curve, I believe the 2907 was 729lbs at day 30 if I remember correctly
