I have assembled an amazing team of world class sculptors(not just pumpkin carvers)to transform several huge pumpkins into life-size,freestanding(sculpted over steel frames), highly realistic statues of soldiers and Native Americans engaged in battle(War of 1812)This display will be carved in Niagara Falls Ontario the week of Oct. 22. I will need 3-4 large pumpkins that yield extremely thick walls(10 plus inches is ideal!) as it will be cut up and assembled into full size figures. I will also need one pumpkin at the site in Niagara by September 17th so that I might carve a life-size Native American to photograph and serve as promotional ads for the events opening in October. These pieces will undoubtedly be the most incredible images of carved pumpkins to date.
