I found some PM in the patch Sunday night. I had been a little lax in spraying fungicides so far this year. I applied a dose of Nova along with my regular foliar treatments. Mildew seems to have slowed its advance; however will likly do another application of some other fungicied by mid week.

Yeah, I noticed some on a few leaves this week too. I have begun my spraying program. Oil and baking soda are my main defense against PM. 2 gallons of mix gets 60ml oil and 4oz of baking soda.

I checked into a mist blower today.
Stil model 420 = $599.00 and the spray tank attachment adds another $250.00. A steep price for my limited pumpkin budget. I'm gonna have to hold off for awhile on this purchase. The tank sprayers are only about 25 bucks. I have used five different ones in the last four years.

We are stihl dealers. The 420 is currently on sale for $599 down from the regular price of $669. The sprayer tank attachment is $203 regular retail. I can offer the package to GVGO members for 10% off the package deal of $802 for a final price of $722+ taxes. The Stihl rep says this is cheaper than the US pricing.

With taxes, exchange and duty you can buy one in the states for under 700 cdn. Checking into the warranty but it looks like you can still bring it to your local dealer and will honour it. drew
