Is Canada going to hold the record this year? I'm watching Jeff Reid closely. Are there any other potential record breakers growing in Canada, or does the US have one out pacing us this year?

I'm on track for 1000 (at day 11, though, I'm probably too late to get there :-) )

I think everybody is watching Jeff Reid. I had one keeping up with his till last week but the plant went down. Let's hope his makes it.

Sorry to hear that Brad. Crammed, we are in the same boat. I'm on pace for 1000lbs at day 13. But I don't think that my soil and plant are up to the challange, for I had no time or $ for proper prep work of a new garden, but if I get 627lbs I'll be happy.

All I need to beat is 204.5 for a new PB. But, I'd be absolutly thrilled with 500.
I too doubt that my plant will last as long as I would hope. I have a pretty bad wound in one of my main vines (resulting from a combination of SVBs and my subsequent "mad scientist" surgery). But, there might be enough in the rest of the plant to make me happy.
I'm sure that I'll be awfully humbled by the GVGO patch tour on the 20th. I'm looking forward to seeing some pretty big ones there.
