I see on there site that the weight off is still for 2004 it hasnt been updated as of yet, But in the newsletter it
says Oct 8th 2005, Should I contact them via phone for entry? or when do you have to register by? Oct 8th will work great for me, this way I can still attend Port Elgin on Oct 1st & 2nd then take my smaller fruit to Howell family pumpkin fest oct 8th.

Dave

I was hoping to go to Port Elgin and show up to Niagara with my rookie entry (which is not very big at all). But, the 8th is also free compost day in my area :-(.

Port Elgin. Probably as a spectator though. I could probably drive there with this years pumpkin on my lap and carry it up to the scales myself...LOL

Well, I don't think that I could carry mine by myself at this point. But, I'd only need the help of an 8 year-old girl (or equivalent) to carry it. The plus is that I can stop worrying if a forklift will fit under the back door of my dad's Windstar.

Then again, maybe I'm not as behind as I thought. I saw some monsters on the patch tour. But, there were a couple about the same size as mine.

Drew told us last year he was changing the weigh off date to the weekend after Port Elgin. I emailed him a few times, but I never got a reply. It wouldn't hurt to call them.
