With all the rain down east its a shame that I have none here. The grass is dry as can be. The popcorn t-Storms all missed my Barrie area. I am going to have to set up the watering equipment soon or the patches will be a dry waste land before long.

Getting pretty dry here also. But looks like a possible few days of rain in the long term forecast. Hope their right!

Russ whats going on, Last year you were posting pictures left and right this year nothing. LOL cant complain too much as I havent been posting pictures that much eaither.

Hey cant complain about the no rain eaither, Last year we had too much rain in the early season, Its been a perfect week, 25-28 dureing the day and sunny, nights a nice 15 +
plants are growing like crazy, Ya today I went down to the river and grabbed 10 medium containers of water, came home added them to my 45 gallon drum which filled it better then part way and I soaked my 4 plants.

Well Folks Looks like this Heat is going to be staying with us for awhile!! Plants are sure loveing it, Ive had the hoop house off the patch for an entire week now and plants are just growing like mad!!. Now if this heat would stay and we would get a nice deep light warm rain once a week it would be about perfect!! Was reading in the newspaper wednesday that the city is going to "lighten" up a bit on the watering ban, as so many people have complained :-)

Sav, Take a drive up to Barrie this summer. August 13th is the patch tour date. I have 14 plants in the ground at two locations. It sure gets hectic sometimes managing work and this hobby. Slack-in' is relative to the lack of a good camera and not the amount of patch work I do. There is just never enough time in the day for all of the chores and my families activities. Shannon thinks she is a patch widow sometimes but at least I'm home with my babies enjoying the
pumpkin plantation of pure perceived misplaced pleasurement...............LOL..............

Dave, we sure could use some rain right now. Have you ever considered how closely your progeny performance is linked to the weather. A cold and dry spring beginning is followed by a droughty warm and dry ending.

Russ, I think your going to be right with the drought
as we are now above normal temperature for this time of year by end of next week its going to be into the 30 C (86F) area.

I'll try to make it to the tour, sounds cool. I was just kidding about the slackin' it's just that I always look for your diary and pics and there haven't been many pics so far...All in good fun though!

I don't think I could handle that many plants and that much work!!!
Hey, your in my list of 1000 pound growers for this year.
Best of luck
