Perhaps you didn't know, but the EGVGA website is updated almost every week with growing information and the latest news on fruit and veg being grown in Europe. http://www.freewebs.com/egvga/index.htm
This week the EGVGA launched information about EGVGA weigh-offs and the awards structure. http://www.freewebs.com/egvga/weighoffs.htm
The EGVGA is currently setting up contacts with existing weigh-offs in 3 or 4 countries including Holland, Finland and Germany.
Once in a while we update the news and events site too. http://www.freewebs.com/egvga/newsevents.htm
If your weighoff date is already known, please contact us and we can put it up there. Free publicity!

The EGVGA site is also trying out a new feature - a member profile page per country.
Go to: http://www.freewebs.com/egvga/members.htm and scroll down to the member list. Click on [The Netherlands] for a sample preview.
If you are an EGVGA member and would like to have your picture (with a giant veggie or course) and a short description of yourself added, send that with your name to giantveg@hotmail.com.
It might take some time before your pics are added, but have patience.

Brad,
I want to congratulate you and all of the people involved for the constant and consistent development of your website.
I am extremely happy to have read your rules for European Weigh offs to be associated with the EGVGA and will tell you that you have found the exact mixture of what we in Europe need.
My hat is off to all that have had a hand in what you are doing.
Job well done!
regards, owen

The EGVGA has added a "rumour column" to the homepage. The rumours are all true of course but might have to be taken lightly once in a while, as not all of our information is from reliable resources...:)

Updated with the latest rumours up to and including August 5.
