Congrats Theo Kiewiet on a new Dutch squash record of 694 lbs!
I see you beat me theo. Close, but I will admit it. I think I should send you something as a price. Question, do you still like those orange pumpkins as mentioned at the Patch Tour? Then I will send you a seed you could like. It starts with 12 and ends with 33. How about that?
Besides I think I understood the first Dutch sentence.
De eilandbewoner kweekt graag pompoenen.
Let`s have a competition next year again and go for 400.

Thanks All for the nice words!
Heino, that orange pumpkin seed is most welcome! Our nation is orange, our pumpkins should be orange :D:D:D and surely we go for 400+Kg next year! :-)
Jos, a cold Belgian one, sure! See you tomorrow. The trailer is well packed.

Owen, it a green year in Europe it seems; my garden trade is called De Groene hovenier, guess what it means? ;-)

Brad, this year I got 312kg, but something went seriously wrong with the irrigation. That will be seriously improved next year, not hoping to immitate you with explosions, lol, 400+ is my goal, 500+ even better: more lol. If so, I try to organize a Smashing Povery event (for www.ontwikkelingswerktheokiewiet.nl, schools for Africa) by let falling down a big pumpkin from about 20m...
