I would like to put an urgent call out to all UK Growers who may be reading this. After making 75 Phone calls i have been unsucessful in being able to find any supplier for Horticultural/Agricultural Grade Dolomite Lime & Gypsum but so far no luck. I know the Lime is available from some Horticultural Sundries Companies but the cost is totally stupid and i am not willing to pay the earth just to put it in the earth. The Gypsum is available in small 2 or 3 Kilo boxes for around 4 or 5 Quid a box, i need about 100 Kilo's therefor cost of this is also prohibitive buying it by the box. If anyone knows of a supplier of Dolomite Lime & Gypsum in 25 Kilo bags and who does not want stupid money for it please contact me on UKGPG@aol.com
This is an urgent request therefor any speedy reply will be appreciated.
P.S. I have tried all the Builders Merchants, Suppliers to the major Garden Centres and suppliers to the Agricultural and Horticultural Trades with no luck at all.
Regards Mike

Mike, Edwin Tucker & Sons sell Dolomite Lime,£19.95 per 25kg that price is delivered. They are a Devon firm don't do a lot of advertising but have a surprisingly large catalogue I get my seed Potatoes from them. Will have to think harder about the Gypsum I think the plastering stuff from british gypsum is higher in sulphur than usa stuff.

Mark & Ian Thankyou for replying, i am all sorted on the Dolomite Lime & Gypsum supply problem now, Alun got me sorted out with some from their Allotment Society Trading Hut. I am still looking for Black Strap Molasses though, just bought a Jar of it in an emergency from a Health Food Shop. Far too expencive to buy any quantity for continual use but i will keep the worms happy for a little while with what i have managed to find.
Happy New Year to you Lad's.
Cheers Mike
