I put 6 yards of this premium compost on my 40 x 35' patch
I asked for test results -as followed
Organic matter= 21.95%
CEC = 34
PH = 7.6
All in ppm
Phosphorus= 179
Potassium= 4505
Magnisium =669
Calcium =2987
sulfer =65.5
Zinc = 12.0
Maganese = 64.6
copper = 2.5
Iron = 135.6
sodium = 441
soluble salts + 1.37 mmhos/cm

The above is tilled in should I add more?

Looks Good,

You have a Nice OM 21.95%
PH is a Tad High at 7.6 But the Manure added should
Bring it down over the winter months.
Sufur is Very High

I'd like to know your existing pH & Calcium levels. The Potassium is high relative to Calcium so you might have to balance it with either Lime or Gyspsum.

Other than that I wish I had a source of this stuff nearby.

PH was 7.0 last time tested and calcium at 3200ppm magnesium was at 693 ppm. Thanks for the response- I used alot of additional calcium this year with the agro K program.

George, is K level correct? It seams to be really excessively high.

I'd go ahead with it George. You should still put as much calcium in the soil that you can within the "normal range". You'd like your base cation ratios of Ca:Mg to stay within the 5.5-8:1 range once all is done. Calculating these ratios is based on weight & not on volume. So since mineral laden soils weigh so much more than organic amendments, the rations won't change dramtically. A late winter or early spring soil test is a good idea for all of us anyway. The results will tell you if you need to counteract all that potassium with additional Ca &/or Mg.
