I am trying to set goals for my soil. What should the goal for these elements be? According to A&L Labs(ppm)
What I am looking for in an answer is simply how much is reccomended, such as OM% should be 10% or higher.
Nitrogen(NO3-N) Phosphorus(weak bray) Phosphorus(NaHCO3-P) Potassium(K) Magnesium(Mg) Calcium(Ca) Sodium(Na) Sulfur(SO4-S) Zinc(Zn) Manganese(Mn) Iron(Fe) Copper(Cu) Boron(B)

The most recent "How to Grow World Class Giant Pumpkins III" has a good discussion on soil nutrients and ratios. Additionally, there are a couple of growers on here who are real soil gurus and if you read through some of the other posts in this section "docgipe" and "tremor" are pretty generous with thier knowledge. I am still adjusting my soil, but through the help of local growers in my club and the soil gurus here.. I have great advice and my spring soil test really improved from the fall. I have particularly been focusing on PH, organic matter, and calcium. Good luck in 2004
