I was told to be careful when using a salt product. I used sea agri (sea-90) when I foliared, slurried, in the planting hole, my soil test showed no signs of being high in salt from using dried salt water. Thats what I was hoping, a cheap way to give my plants minerals. Makes the plants look a cool green also.

But, to be totaly hones, if there was a down side to it, I would say that when I foliar fed, it did seem to make the leafs a little more ripable, I would bump or get caught up in some vines, leafs and the leafs seem to rip easier, tare, (if that makes any sense) I think it could be because of the acidity that the salt water makes it, I used it very generously, often more then what was recomended. And thats my report of Sea-Agri/Sea-90.

Try foliar feeding with a liquid (fish &) seaweed product and get the same suite of trace minerals along with the plant growth hormones, amino acids, auxins and gibberellins that come from this wonderful plant food.
Use a kelp meal when amending soil in location of your plants. The research from use of seaweed products over the recent decades provides abundant news of the good things that are delivered for plant growth, plant health, and defense against disease and insects.
