Subject: Help me calculate sulfur application

As refrence, I used the 2nd table at the bottom of this page, http://hgic.clemson.edu/factsheets/hgic1650.htm, to calculate my sulfur needs.
I think I need .2 lbs per 10 sq/ft to go from 8.0 to 7.0 I then multiplied it by 1/3 because my soil is somewhere between loamy-clay but more loam. Getting a final answer of .266 pounds per 10 sq/ft
Does this sound right?? Is there a easier way or diffrent chart? Thanks in advance!

It depends on your level of free calcium carbonate. .2 lbs/10 ft2 is 20 Lbs/1000ft2, which seems low to me. In my soils I have applied upwars of 100 lbs/1000 ft2 to try to lower the PH this much. Here is a few links you may find helpful:
