Check this out new growers. I noticed one leaf has some yellow on it. I was weeding, and decided to look on the underside. At 1st glance I saw a broken leaf vein, and thought that I probably did that weeding last time. As I moved forward crawling on my hands and knees, I looked back at that leaf and saw what looked like frass. Frass is svb poop. It looks like wet sawdust. I scraped at it with my pocket knife. I saw what looked like the tail of a grub in there, So I cut the leaf off and inspected the leaf vein closer, and sure enough, there was one svb grub in there. I will try to post a few pics of the leaf, then the underside, the frass, then the grub I side. I will put them in my diary, under ZAPPA. I almost missed this, but it's important to always inspect the undersides of leaves often. Apparently, I better start spraying more product.

I love it when that happens. Very easy to spot, and that's one less grub that would have been in a vine.
