a couple week's before the scale, should i trim all secondary vines and could i be taking a risk to trim back the end of main vine, it's 10 feet past kin. thanks, rick

Read this thread. Pap and Ron are fairly knowledgeable , they have grown 1 or 2 decent pumpkins.

Usually the last few weeks we just let the plant go...secondary’s should all or mostly all be terminated ...you could nip the main for the last few weeks if you wanted to...not a huge risk...good luck
