To save on some vine stress, I have started pulling flowers off of the little fruits when they first emerge, leaving the fruit part intact. The wound doesn't weep at all. The problem is that it looks like these flowerless fruits are still growing after several days (week). Will they continue to grow or will they eventually rot away? Was this a mistake that is taking energy way from the rest of the plant?

If they were pollinated, they will continue to grow

Porkchop, No. None if these were pollinated. Snapped the blossoms off when the flowers/fruit were no larger than a fingernail.

And the flowers had not opened yet.

They should eventually rot then...I'd cut them and toss
