Hi, I have some leaves that have the edges not just wilting but the edges look like they are burning. It starts with just the edge but then the whole leaf will brown and dry up. I'm wondering if too much fertilizer is doing this or a disease is doing it. I changed fertilizer with a 0-50-30 ratio a month ago but don't know if its too much. Any help would be great.

0-50-30 is hardly ever used by any one. Second number is Phosphate. That is very high and you don't want your soil test to be high with Phosphate

Holland's sells a fert. similar to this, I use it. Are the leaves on the old part of the plant? If so they will start to fizzle out .

What does your soil test/tissue test say you need? Too much of an amendment can be as bad as too little.

If you try to bake a cake without a recipe, you will be sorely disappointed.

Been there, done that. :-(

Hey josh what do you mean the old leaves will fizzle out? The leaves that are doing the drying out are closer to the main root I had read that you need a high potassium at this stage in growing I know the phosphate is really high too but was told this was ok. A lot of info but this is awesome to see the biggest pumpkins I have ever grown. Thanks for the info everyone
