Hello guys, I'm a Portuguese guy I'll start this year in giant pumpkins. As such I would like to know the opinion of you, how many plants I should sow with a rectangle 25 feet long by 15 wide?

I'd like to post a picture to show the ground, but do not know if it is possible, or how should I do?

You should planted 2 but only grow the one that looks the best. Your going to need every inch of that 375 square foot patch to grow a big one. Remember to start the seed inside. Good luck

Agree with leines, 375 sqft is the area required for one plant to grow a big one, and you should plant a back-up and then see which one grows best to keep the stronger plant, and you should start the seeds in pots (large pots!) and transplant the best plants to your patch (at the "first true leaf stage").

Just a question: Does your 25x15 ft rectangle refer to plowed/tilled patch soil, and is there much more room outside that rectangle, or is the 25x15 ft rectangle the maximum area available (because there are fences, walls, other patches with flowers etc., around that rectangle)? If you have a 25x15 ft rectangle of good patch soil and some more room available outside that rectangle (for example some lawn where the pumpkin plant could run across), then you could grow two plants, from the centre of the patch to the outside, the stumps of the plants being about 4 ft from each other. The final plants, however, should still be allowed to cover an area of about 350-450 sqft each.

I was looking at your diary and if it's 25m x 15m, that's over 4000 square feet. you could grow 4 to 6 in that area. It looks like you could go biiger too.

Yes, if your measurements are in meters, that's plenty of room for 6 plants.
