friends and new/newer growers

i have noticed recently a large group of new growers seeking knowledge and growing info on this site.

for the sake of repetition? it got me to thinking that perhaps a re=print of my dicks tips #2 that was sold several years ago would be in order?
certainly would eliminate many rookie first/second year errors for sure.

some of you that have a copy from a few years ago may want to leave a comment below?it was very well received at the time.not much has changed in that time either.

the book contains 35 pages covering 15 chapters from soil/insects/starting off/testing/planting/vine burying/pruning/pollination/critters/general knowledge needed for basic success, plus several pages of experience sharing.
the book was authored bt ron and dick wallace.

im selling the book for $15.00
i will also include a copy of ron wallaces 2009 wr report being published in this falls sngpg newsletter.

if interested send your $15.00 check made out to richard wallace and mail to me at

ps---this is also an excellent informational hand out at meetings of new clubs and new grower events.discounts available for group purchases --- email (papsbuick56@aol.com)

thanks

Dick Tips 2 is worth MUCH more than $15. And Ron Wallace's report on how he grew the 2009 makes the book a STEAL. :-)

Pap: received the book and thanks. Would you answer a few questions that I could not fine in the book. What is the size of the soil mound you use or do you when planting.. These pumpkins are for the grandkids and I am sure they would want more of a pumpkin color if possible. With this in mind what seed would you suggest and from whom.

Thanks Leo
