I always hear people talking about aged manure. I can get my hands on as much 6 to 8 year aged manure as I want. Is that to long and does it even matter??
Thanks in advance!

Chris, aged manure that old is awesome....it should be 100% OM...don't know why you'd have to add anything to it.
Work it in, get a soil test in Spring...ready to go!!

when talking about manure which is best as here in tenerife all manure is hard to come by and pricey. over here we have some goats donkeys and a few cows and horses which is best to source and how old should it be as it is rare to find any more than 2 year old

Des, Collect all you can as cheaply as neccesary. Pile it up in the corner and compost it for next year. If it is hard to find, start planning way ahead, one to two years anyway. Any is better than none, but fresh is worse than alot! BSD, David
