Has anyone used either? And can these be substituted as a true fungicide for powdery mildew if done early? I am looking at alternatives this year leaning towards the more organic route. I am very new to these biologicals, so is this similiar to Rootshield? Thanks and confused

And to confuse myself more, the below is found in Biota Max: Trichoderma harzianum Trichoderma viride Trichoderma koningii Trichoderma polysporum Bacillus subtilis Bacillus laterosporus Bacillus licheniformus Bacillus megaterium Bacillus pumilus Paenibacillus polymyxa
-Trichoderma harzianum is the main ingredient in Rootshield.
Bacillus subtilis is the main ingredient in Companion
Has anyone used the Biota Max since it has the same ingredients as Companion AND Rootshield.
Just trying to figure all these out, thanks.

I used actinovate foliar in 2010 but still was badly infected with pm. It kept appearing under the leaves, had to get systemic infuse to stop it. The infuse was much better than actinovate. I still like actinovate as a soil drench but would not count on it against pm. I had another plant that had no actinovate but was hit regularly with aliette and it had no pm so I've concluded that aliette which is a systemic helps against pm or maybe what I had was downy mildew?

Titanic, I used Bonide Infuse last year as my systemic and Daconil and Manco as my spots in rotation. They worked well and I never really got any diseases including PM. I'm not using any synthetic fungicides this year so just trying to find alternatives to get a good start. I'm probably setting myself up for disaster though with the heat and growing in shade half the day.

Actinovate works very well, we use it as a drench through our irrigation. As with any foliar application, you must get both sides of the leaves on order for a product to be 100% effective.
