Could someone tell me what does the shade box mean. Does it mean the pumpkin was shaded or the plant?

while we are on AGGC, can anyone tell me how to get them to answer a contact request? at least they should have the courtesy to tell new growers they are too new to join.

I also filled out there application, never heard back from them. They do ask the biggest pumpkin you have grown, maybe it has to be a certain weight?

I wouldn't get upset about not hearing from Mike. He posted on the AGGC that the last few months the AGGC has taken a backseat to personal things going on in his life & he doesn't know when he will be able to give it his full attention

Ben, First, I would like to suggest that you stick to the topic of the threads instead of restarting your own topic in someone else's thread.
Second, The application clearly states the following...
"...membership is limited only to those actively growing pumpkins and with a least a couple years experience behind them. This is not a how-to site and is not meant for novice growers."
"Applying for such implies you have read and agreed to abide by the above conditions of membership."
Those are the rules. It's his site, his rules.
Third, Calling people out in an open forum will not help you gain friendship, or assitance on this site.
