Almost everyday I have a new leaf that has collapsed over from a weak stalk. When its windy I get a few. I bamboo\zip tie them so they are all still helping in production, but has anyone else experienced this? It's not a genetic thing either as it has happened on all 3 plants.
Thanks

Mine are only collapsing because of wind. Are the stalks really tall, enough light? Are the leaves getting wet all the time or have you put in lots of N?

They collapse even with weak wind. I have the same symptoms as Dale M. The ones that do collapse get a series of notches along the stalk and are typicall along the main. Dale's plant that had the most collapses gets the most light. I should get my soil test back anyday as I suspect it is some type of deficiency. Thanks

Maybe you and Gary can compare soil test results?
