I am trying to use a small (48"x48") greenhouse over my newly started plants to help keep the heat during the night. However, due to my job I cannot always be there to open it in the morning, so temps can get very high. Is there a small fan setup controlled by a thermostat that anyone has any info about? Or other ideas to control the temps? Seen them get to 120F+ pretty fast in morning.

actually backally the need for protection around the young plant is needed for only a short period of time

we have mini greenhouse type coverings that havea doors that opens to work on the plant, leave open in day time, or close at night. we also use heating cables around the new plants, leaving them on until night time temps are summer like. the heated soil is a big key early on for root development.

for air temp heating on cold night we place a mini hoop made of wire fencing over the plant, cover the hoop with a sheet,(or thin blanket ) and also if needed we have a low voltage light to run on the really cold nights. works well.

we have never lost a plant to freezing night time temps with this method.

those hoops have a double purpose as we also use them to cover freshly polinated fruits ---using a thin sheet or remay for covering keeps them shaded and out of the direct sun early on.
