abby pappy has received many questions over the winter. after a long winters nap abby pappy came out of retirement to share his thoughts. (dont try this at home kids)
dear ap --- i recently dropped 150 yards of leaf compost and 150 yards of fresh cow and pig manure on my 50 ft x 50 ft patch. is this enough to give me that edge im seeking? signed dozer from detroit dear dozer --- your patch is gonna be in great shape - in about 100 or so years.keep up the good work. suggest a name chamge to doozie
dear ap --- every time i start to work in my giant veggie patch my wife has somewhere to go. she wont leave me alone and wont go by herself either. im flustrated and am thinking of what to do? signed peedoff in pittsburg dear mr. peedoff --- you need to be more understanding of your wifes feelings. she may think you like that garden more than you do her? try bringing her out to the patch with you, give her a plant to call her own, show her your tender side, ( and not just when your bending over the plant ) if that fails? --- dump her.
dear ap --- everyone on bp is mad at me because they say i collect to many seeds and then end up trading them rather than planting as i had told them i would do. no one will send me anymore seeds.presently i have collected 475 return bubbles this winter. am i being a pig about it? signed porker in providence dear mr.porkster --- your not being a pig, your a whole pen full of um.having said that though? send me your seed list i may want to make a couple trades.

Hi abby pappy, "A whole pen full" funny. I will be in Iraq this year for the Army, I just found out James Van Hook will also be in Iraq this year, how do I contac him, wait tell I get to Iraq and look for a giant pumpkin growing in the desert somewhere to find Mr. Van Hook or wait for someone to answer my posting asking for his email. Signed giant pumpkin grower in the middle of the Iraq desert.
