if you already set pumpkin dont worry about it just use some terchiarys to fill in area to get proper sq/ft of plant you want. if not set yet use last side vine and make it your new main. just grow last side as if its the main and then use terchiaries as sides. youll be fine i did this process because i had ribbon vine this season. i purposely cut off main and used side and still got to 1091.5 so youll be fine.

Good advice Pumpkin Jam.

IF you have a sec prior to the break that just seems to be more dominant then the other ones in the area you might want to train that one to be your main.

David looks like in picture,, your not using the small bambo sticks,,on main,,, to pin down main vine from wind. Could have been your problem.

howdy bro i just lost main vine to but luckily just pollinated 2 kins i hope they take i,m training 1 or 2 sides to replace the main theory is my main is now technically before the kins so whole plant will be directly feeding the kins no back feeding if you havent pollinated yet go with suggestions above and you'll be fine
