This is my first year growing giant pumpkins. I have 4 plants all doing very well. Only one of the plants has a female. The other 3 have only male flowers, its only been about a week with flowers. How long till the female flowers appear?

Get a hold of Pete Glacier or Leonardo Urena. They both live in Napa.

When did you plant? Has the female been pollinated yet?

I had males for 2 weeks or so and then a female appeared. Did you start late?

I planted in the middle of may. The female flower is not opened yet. Thank you for your help.

Sounds right on schedule if you planted in mid may that is two weeks later then most growers plant.
