Today my plants that were looking pretty good seemed as if someone had pulled the plug on them. It was in the mid 90's today and I was wondering of it was just the heat. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Joe Z.

Could it be that there are no taproots on that part of the vine yet?

Would that cause the wilting during the day? By the time the sun was going down they seemed to perk back up. So I am thinking I need to provide some shade for them, does that make sense? Thanks for your thoughts Nic. Joe Z.

I've had a week of 90-95 degree daytime highs with only very slight wilting on new leaves with no shade provided if that gives you an idea of what the plants can handle. Have you been burying your vines at the leaf nodes?

every plant is different, just so you know joe, wilting on the leaves at the end of the vines is very normal. They take their time hardening up. Some plants are much better in heat, others stink:) Each plant is very different on how it reacts.
