My plants seem to do better under the hail netting. I have a hail netting with 14% shade. Our weather here in Denver is typically high 80s and low 90s and with our altitude leaf burn can be a problem because of the high UV rays. With the hail netting I'm not seeing the leaf burn so far this year and we have had a very warm 2nd half of spring. If you are interested in hail netting send me an email and I can send you information for where I got mine. Good quality stuff and inexpensive. jj@pumpkinlink.com
