noob here , and I have some punkins that are starting 4' from the stump.....
do I prune?

I guess I should wait till evening time and not the middle of the day to do all my 3rd stage and culling pruning right?

You better make sure those 3rd stage are not secondaries. Seen to many new growers cut off side-vines. You cannot have tertiary s without secondary's first.
