I have one plant with a double main vine fused together and is now starting to go their seperate ways, is this going to be a problem? Should I trim one of the vines off? should I let it grow or pull it? I have the back up next it and growing good but the double vine seems to be growing alot better? Any suggestions? (I'll post pics soon) - Thanks Jim -

1. grow one as the main and train the other as a side vine OR 2.trim off one vine at the split and go from there with one main vine OR 3.train the split vine to go out into the patch in a V shape (starting at the split) and grow two mains with two sets of side vines and grow one pumpkin on each main.
if your growing for size id go with numbers 1 or 2 if you want to try something different and have a dr frankenstein side? go with number 3.

I had the same thing happen with my 1258 Holder. I put it in the ground anyway as a backup. Naturally Pap would know something about this, I guess most seasoned growers would, I didn't know what to make of it myself.
