transplanted seedlings to cloches 7 days ago and now we are seeing a little bit of brown around the edges of the first couple of true leaves. could this be from too much sun or possible too much water? any input would be very helpful so we can correct the problem.

If in cloches...are you checking temps, and adjusting (more air flow) if temps get way high? In full sun, a closed cloche (mini-greenhouse, will get way over 100F early in the day & could reach 120F plus by noon or so) Could be the prblm. A small cloche, w/ a lil sun will get hot, hot, hot...very quickly!!! Do not give up hope tho...a lil burnt now, will be quickly outgrown...minor set back, if you correct the cause of the prblm!!! Cheap to check, buy an outdoor temp thing!!! Less than $5 at Lowes, Wallyworld, or lot's of other places!!! Peace, Wayne
