I have started a few atlantic giant seeds indoors in potting soil about 4 days ago. I now want to know what the best method of planing them is. do you make a mound? what do you mix into it? what do you fertalize with? how many in a mound? Any general guidance is appreciated Scott

Hey Scott, Plenty of time to get good info..You are way early for spring planting. Need a good size sunny area, mounding slightly is most often recommended. Mix plenty of aged manure and chopped leaves. If your really serious on growing the AG's try and get a copy of Don Langevin's books. How to grow World Class Pumpkins II. I cant find the books in New Zealand can somebody tell me the price for both books over there and I will send some money over to get them posted back to me did that make any sence at all

I got the books from amazon.com. I don't know if they ship over there and I don't know if they cost more than www.giantpumpkin.com. Good luck growing.
